There are no income, withholding, sales, profits, corporate, stamp, gift or death taxes or duties in relation to international business conducted by non-residents, or by Vanuatu companies of the "international" or "exempted" type, or by trusts. "International" companies have a 20 year guarantee against taxes, duties, and exchange controls.

Vanuatu is not party to any tax treaties, so it does not have to disclose any fiscal information to the government of any other country. There are no controls or restrictions on monetary exchange, and all currencies are freely convertible.
